What you don't understand is that the trend of female independence is not really reversible under neoliberal capitalism. Its also not really in our interest as males with low sexual value to be locked into loveless arranged marriages. The likely result of all of this will be the creation and rapid development of artificial companions and artificial reproductive technologies. We are in a transitory period, where some men still cling to the agrarian ideals of the past, not knowing that the conditions that spawned that style of life no longer exist.

I predict in the next 10 to 15 a gradual shift away from romance entirely by men, with those who can afford it opting to have children via a commercial surrogacy service with increasingly more complex genetic engineering and editing being used to create better humans than what can be created naturally. If you are an incel and have $500k to start a family, do you start a family with the low quality women in your league, or do you spend $150k on a having a son using some supermodel's eggs and some minimal genetic engineering to weed out bad genes? Its obvious what the winning move here is. My guess is that Russia will be the first to implement this system, since they already lead in the commercial surrogacy market and would have no issue with hard eugenics. Western nations will likely ban such things, but the future lies in genetic engineering, and the first nation to develop a purely artificial way of having a child will likely dominate all others.

Well /biz/? 29 yo single male here. Average surrogacy costs around $60k if performed overseas plus about $5k for the eggs. Marriage can be much more expensive if it results in divorce. I've never been good with women, and am considered to be ugly.
