It's an incredible debate. I'm a leaf, and I despise the mass immigration stance of all our parties, but mathematically, they are correct. North America is growing from immigration, everywhere else besides Africa is declining in population. China, Japan, Russia, and a lot of Europe are absolutely fucked from demographics and fertility rate. North America is attempting a short term fix (mass immigration) to a long term problem (fertility rates). I don't know what the answer is, but in the next decade, demographics are going to take centre stage as billions transition to retirement and old age with no kids to replace them.

Yeah, there will be days where I see a big move which I anticipated but I didn't take part in. And then the feeling sets in that, "this was my big chance and I blew it". I then go into a downward spiral of making bad trades and only end up losing money. But I realized there will always be a big trade available around the corner, one missed chance doesn't mean it was the only chance. And yeah, I've been doing short dated options against better judgement, but I'm so down bad and desperate that I always end up doing more despite knowing how futile it is. The most recent mistake was not getting in on META puts like I planned to, I beat myself up for it alot and just can't stop myself from trading since I always think to myself, "fuck man, if I had done that, I could've finally stopped". At this point, I just want to recover my losses and call it quits for a long time, this negativity has been leaking into my real life and I'm a shell of my former myself, my mood for the day and how I treat people literally comes down to whether or not I am up for the day. It's horrible.
