Wrong anon. Satoshi created Bitcoin. BTC is a bastardized fork that shits over his protocol. Exactly what Satoshi did not want.

You don't just quite seem to get it, bsv was created because bcashers betrayed craig and wanted to change the protocol away from bitcoin, so craig had no other option than save the bitcoin again, thanks to craig, we now have the original protoc living on the bsv blockchain, which is really all you will ever need in this industry.

A fork is when a certain amount of the miners decide to change the rules and mine on the network using these new rules instead. If it's planned and everyone does it, it's generally referred to as an upgrade instead, but if not, the network splits into two or more smaller networks mining with different rules. See attached image for a timeline of Bitcoin forks.

Hash rate is the amount of hashes per second generated to secure a given network. Bitcoin solves the Byzantine Generals Problem by an economic mechanism, namely the cost associated with generating a partially inverted hash (electronic equipment to do so, electricity, manpower, knowledge, etc.), which is essentially a lottery ticket to find a new block, and the difficulty is adjusted every certain number of blocks to make this happen roughly every 10 minutes on average. Billions of these are generated every second on the largest networks.
