Hi frens,

I am the payments consultant who posted here yesterday with the idea of selling my real estate, investing half of the proceeds of the sale after taxes to acquire LINK tokens for node operation for my myself and prospective clients within the banking sector here in Europe.

I've sent out a few emails to real estate agents both here and in Thailand. I'd like to get started before PSD2 and my delay earlier stood in contemplating should I go along this path or be a passive LINK hodler.

My budget for units in Thailand are around 750-970 euros a month for a one year lease as a trial. If you happen to have contacts in Thailand that can help in getting me settled there (lawyers+ real estate agents).

I'm single so the move should go seamless. I asked my boss who I'm fairly close to (my dad and him went to high school together) what value I bring to my work and he spoke highly of my work and that I could be in line to get a promotion in 3 years if I maintain the level of diligence I have now.

I love the guy, but I feel making this move into entrepreneurship may fracture our relationship/closeness. I'm make it right with him in due time.

Here is my resignation letter. I have spent a lot of time in constructing this but please help me out if you see something that would help out. Thanks.

"Dear X,

I want to thank you in hiring me a few years year ago to assist in helping banks classified in PSD2 parameters to transition to a market space which will subsequently be that of legacy payment systems and emerging fintech solutions. While we understand the broader macro perspective in terms of market need, the fact remains the opportunity remains wide open for enterprising talent within the business and technology space in aid at their own individual talents, abilities, and resources to thrive.

I plan to enter full-time as an entrepreneur to work within the burgeoining API/Blockchain payment space.

I love you and I thank you for everything.

I work as a payment consultant for a bank here in Europe. I've worked in my current role for the past 4 years. In all truth, I understand the potential of this project and am willing to go the entrepreneur path like Johnny Huxtable did (he's a former BAE employee, look up their client profile).

I figure I sell all my real estate (valued at roughly $400K) and put half into Chainlink to have around 1 Million Chainlink tokens (running nodes, setting up nodes for corporate/ banking clients) and using the other $200k to split: 1/2 to my bank for savings and the other half to live on for 2 years. One can live comfortably for $1K/month there.

Convince me I am out of my mind. I have my resignation letter drafted up and ready to click the send button.

While the price of Chainlink has gone down considerably, long-term the trajectory of Chainlink and its ecosystem may prove historic. I'm considering risking the career for a life of entrepreneurship and node operations. Am I mad?
