If large companies like Verizon need to refinance because they have a certain amount of debt on variable rate of interest with the likelihood of the FED raising rates we could see bankruptcies and massive layoffs. This will lead to an uptick in unemployment claims, more government spending, and a tightening of private sector spending. This could be rough for 2024

Bro and everybody else in this thread I feel like all I'm doing when it comes to investing is taking a grand a month and buying more index funds and coming back and seeing safe returns. Is there all there is to making easy slow money? I missed the days where people used to suggest yolo'ing shit on /smg/. I like shit posting on here but this all feels so boring.
