It isn't, cash is widely recognized and accepted and that offsets it's perceived inherent flaws such as inflation.
Be honest to yourself and stop parroting the rationalizations you hear here. You can't pay a tank of gas with PMs. It's an investment, far less liquid than cash.
Always doubt anything, particularly what you hear here.
That said, i don't see harm in buying PMs with disposable income, and holding it for a long time.
Another thing, maybe gold isn't better. Maybe i'm wrong. Maybe we are both wrong. Deeply look into it, listen to all the voices and always be skeptic.

But yeah, gold is better ;-).

Anyway, you aren't complete unless you have a treasure chest to store your treasure in!
