sound like kids games, and theyre labeled as such, but theyre actually some of the best point and click mystery games ever made. there's like 20 of them, and they're mostly about pretty normal stuff like art forgery etc, but as the games went along, the developers gradually introduced a weird superplot about aliens thats hinted to be real.

you want to know something else weird? these games never made a profit, for 20 years. the entire time, they were funded by an anonymous billionaire backer.

the series is over now - the last game is terrible, the second-to-last is kind of bad, and the first two are really old, but all the others in the middle are solid. also, unlike other point and click games like myst or w/e, the things you'll get stuck on are almost never random or bs-seeming, but things that make logical sense when you realize what they are. theyre really solid, although it does feel a little immature playing a game that has the hardy boys in it. they're fairly funny though - both intentionally and from the old cgi.
