I know this board is mostly interested in coins right now, but I was hoping I could still get some help.

There's an old building near me that I'd like to buy. It's got space for two businesses on the bottom floor and two apartments upstairs.

My goal is this:

>Buy the building
>Live in one of the apartments while I renovate everything
>Rent out the other apartment
>Lease out one of the business space
>Run a store out of the other business space

I'm 26 and have a shit-tier Credit Score due to student loans and things like that. Does anyone have any ideas for how I could finance such an endeavor?

I recently took over a hobby shop in my town with a friend of mine.

As his right-hand man, I want to promote the shit out of our business, but through unique, creative, and even unusual, means.

I love reading about guerrilla marketing and I think it's fascinating.

I think flash mobs and the like are shitty, but I love other unique marketing campaigns.

Anyway, I want to start creating flyers, posters, banners, and other items that are almost like propaganda in nature.

I love history and I love looking at old propaganda.

I especially want to create flyers that look they could be ripped from World War II-era America.

Have any of you guys ever looked at using propaganda as a promotional tool?

I studied public relations in college, along with rhetorical theory, so this doesn't seem like it'd be too far-fetched to me.

Anyone have a great place I should start reading if I want to do this?
