pillows is testing the market. I think there's a niche I can fit in, but i want to test it out with a few k before I scale and set up the whole system. The way I work, I need to have skin in the game or I won't really pay attention, so I bought up the raw materials and now I'm committed. I don't care about the money, I just want to be right. I'm doing this as an initial product launch to see what demand is and to inform follow-on launches. What do I need to worry about? Should I focus on out-sourcing the fabrics, or on bulk suppliers? What kind of supply is required? What's the price elasticity? All kinds of things need to be validated. I want to set this up as a distributed system where suppliers and fabricators sent monthly supply to distributors and packagers, and I just focus on marketing and strategy, and then I just hire someone to take care of that and I move on to the next thing. One step at a time. For this, starting with an etsy page and using that to A/B test branding profiles. I'll list on my main page or under my sister's clothing brand, or another LLC. My main is turning more into a venture studio than something that can do consumer goods and products and I want to keep the message focused.

self-publishing is the way to go, at least, at first, and if you have quality editing and cover design. Brandon Sanderson has some good videos on youtube on the larger business aspects of writing, and workshop called "bestseller in a weekend" covers the process of self-publishing in detail. I'll post some
