Since i still only have triple digits worth of capital in my account, I prefer to keep to stocks that have a fair dividend yield to them and hold so I can reinvest gains back into them. I figure once I get more money to work sith I'll start diving into call, puts and spreads and strats of that nature, that way I have a cushion on the offchance I only end up losing more than I'm profiting.

Maybe not the most profitable strategy for short term gains but it's what I've got so far.

I know a dude who majored in political science and is making a ton of $$$ in finance. But he went to a solid school and has awesome social/networking skills. I knew another guy who majored in electrical engineering but was such a robot he couldn't hold a job for long.
