CCIP is friggin massive dude. It'll reinvent how developers manage their dapps. Currently, when you release a dapp, you deploy it on X blockchain's mainnet, then deploy it on Y blockchain mainnet (if you have Chainlink dependencies, you'll have to change addresses on your code), then you have to manage each dapp separately. If you're running a DEX, then you'll have liquidity pools split up between the difference blockchains. With CCIP, everything is merged together. No managing multiple version a la a developer managing their iOS and Android app. One main contract and you send commands to different blockchains.

On top of that, there will be dapps that are so big that they'll want to stop wasting their time having their users pay for gas, and MEV on top of the dapp fees, so they'll plan to move onto their own chain, a roll up and then interface with Ethereum via CCIP. Uniswap is predicted to become its own chain.

In the DeFi industry alone, CCIP will shake things up massively in letting BTC users and other non smartcontract chains play the shitcoin casino. The enterprise abstraction layer will be onboarding companies who've been building their permissioned and private blockchains for ages. Who knows how much they account for and how far they've progressed.

Ethereum is going to have a very very difficult time justifying its value post CCIP as it'll be a race to the bottom for all blockchains to be hosting the main contracts for each dapp. All the while, Chainlink will be the toll booth for every command, and every transaction in the new generation of dapps that work cross chain.
