based. appreciate the post anon. how should a young man who isnt quite as socially inept as the individual you are analyzing, but still somewhat inept, handle situations with women. Specifically, im interested in social situations (like at the bar) with respect to the over-thinking aspect of a confused young man. For example, i saw a cute girl, probably on a date, and when the guy she was with went to the bathroom, i wanted to go up to talk with her but i overthought the situation and did nothing. Funny thing is, of course, another local at the bar (Will) who is better at talking with people just walked up to her and started talking. then when the guy came back from the bathroom, he had to slide around Will talking to his girl, and just wait for them to finish talking. From my perspective i was like, wow Will is a fucking boss, and he made the boyfriend or whatever seem like a fucking bitch. I will talk with Will next time i see him for more insight on the matter of course.
