What's the point of a stressful job without a real "calm routine"? Makes sense of you are using the money to invest to retire asap, but if not, why the fuck would you do it long term if your quality of life would be complete shit?
Like what's the point of having some expensive waste of money car and some big ass home if you're just going to be stressing about your job 24/7 even when at home (i.e. "fuck, I have to survive this shit tomorrow and have no idea what tomorrow will even bring"). Doesn't seem very stable. Seems hard to constantly be a good performer with skill based work in general since it's different every single day. I don't mean like some random teaching job. I mean like stem jobs and even blue collar work (i.e. at the journeyman level where YOU have to command a team and know EXACTLY what material to use, where to mount, designing at times, knowing how to navigate the law book aka NEC book, fast paced, etc.). Nursing is another example (mainly the ones in hospitals). One wrong move can cost a life and your license. Those 4-5 years to be a nurse? All that studying? Down the toilet in a snap with one wrong move.

Seems like a shit way of living life. Constant high levels of stress. High stress jobs pay more, but they don't seem "stable" enough to rely on them (hence why I think you haven't actually "made" it unless you can survive without an employer).

How do you guys cope with high stress jobs? Do you think it's even worth it? Stress = losing hair too. Fucks with your sleep. Also kills libido which can lead to a wife cheating on you since you won't be enough to satisfy them. It's not as simple as "being stressed". It ALSO affects your health.

So Im thinking... how likely is it for someone who isnt deaf to be able to get a TA for the deaf if they have a college?
It's actually pretty hard to be fluent in it. Like you have to literally understand every sign and half like less than a second to register each sign. I'm thinking I'd be paired with a deaf teacher and get btfod by not understanding some of what they are trying to communicate.
