- 50% of ETH value is locked up in ERC-20 tokens
- TVL for DEFI assets increasing at compounded rate
- Defi leads adoption but growth of other sectors is coming
- Increasing usage and network congestion plus increased gas fees results in an opportunity for layer 2 solutions and layer 1 solutions to reduce costs as adoption grows
