I think this country is going to end up economically and ethnically indistinguishable from Argentina.
The biggest problems are lack of quality leadership anywhere no matter the political team, and secondly this country wants to spend big government money on welfare/healthcare/pensions when it no longer has the industrial and productive capability to do so. We're running entirely on debt and once that goes it's over. Neolibs have privatised everything rather than investing in productivity, thinking money is a substitute... look at this gas shortage crisis and how they seem to think that printing more money will address that we simply do not have enough gas, you can't put £££ in a boiler.
