This. So many people don't understand why bitcoin is so successful. They think it's because "hurr it's digital!!" Take Venezuela for example, i didn't know whether to cry or laugh - when they were confronted with the fact that bullshit government fiat money is absolutely worthless and people were flocking to bitcoin, the government of Venezuela comes up with the BRILLIANT idea of saving the day with its OWN cryptocurrency, "the Petro", an oil-backed cryptocurrency in the hands of the Venezuelan government.
