If you already have kids and are miserable, more kids aren't going to help. If, however, you are old enough to have kids but don't have them, and aren't on a path in that direction, chances are you're fucking up your brain by skipping the main thing it's for. And then fucking it up even more by trying to fill the empty space and time with a bunch of dumb creature comforts. A grown man living alone who doesn't even think to wonder if maybe a grown man ought to have a wife instead of a girlfriend.
