TPS will increase overtime with more updates. With Visa and bitcoin, it would take a massive restructuring of their networks to be able to improve their TPS. They are also centralized and not free. BCH big blocks will only go so far until it hits other massive problems. Other fast coins which have fees and/Or are centralised. It can hit 7000 TPS in a stress test, but its not necessary right now.
