How do I make the chainlink nightmare end? No, I don't want to kill myself, I think my life is pretty okay overall, but still, chainlink doing what it did and probably continuing on until it reaches $5000 or something is an absolute nightmare. I wish I never knew about chainlink and I wish I didn't deny its potential the way I did. Or I wish I never came here back in 2017. Money was never that important to me before but something has changed in my mind and my quality of life is reducing because of it. It doesn't matter how many times I accept my mistake of selling all of my chainlink back in 2017 despite believe in the project just to chase other pumps. It doesn't matter, I still keep coming back to it. I don't need advice on how to become less of a stupid person, I am fine with being stupid, it's alright. I just seek advice on how the fuck I move on from this so I can get back the life I once had.

There are a handful of crypto projects which exist right now which will have a seat at the table during the next tech revolution, and LINK is the only one we really have a high confidence level around.

ETH will always have to be worth more than any ERC20 (using market cap as a metric) in order for the ERC20 to be secure from a 51% attack.

If the market cap of ETH was $10b and the market cap of the ERC20 was $100b, the cost of overtaking the Ethereum network would be relatively low and would allow more gain in double spending through the ERC20 contract. Whereas it would not be worth it to 51% attack for just ETH itself.

This means ETH's market cap will always have to be more than LINK's.

And as LINK shows green dildo after green dildo, ETH will have to keep increasing in price with it.

I don't expect sub-120 IQ to have figured this out yet.

This board has taken a massive shit over the last year or two and specifically within the last 6 months has hit an all time low in terms of post quality and the sheer amount of scamcoin/token shilling that is happening. Second, I had a long conversation the other night with a gentleman who works for a top cloud security firm (can't say which). He confirmed either blockchain or KPI are going to be necessary infrastructure changes in the data security industry, but more-so was excited about & convinced that decentralization was going to be the next key move in the tech.

He didn't know off-hand much about oracles and definitely never heard of LINK (sorry), but through our chat the impression I got was that all of these firms are just now starting to dig into & decide how to set up their businesses for the next gen of data security & privacy, and that decentralized solutions will be the future. In short, our conversation gave me a lot of confirmation that LINK or at the very least a solution like it will play a key role in next gen data infrastructure.

Even though I hate many of you and wish you painful deaths (especially zoomers), you're all going to make it. Every single asshole on this board is early. Buy and hold, get rich. Simple as that. 95%+ of swingies are going to get the rope, remember that.
