I have been thinking about this also lately and it seems that in my area at least the local market is different than the online market. For the reasons both these anons said >>29425572 >>29425630 and basically because cash is king.
Plus, assuming fiat crash or power grid failure these local shops will continue to buy our silver or sell us more silver or at least be some sort of new mechanism in how currency is supposed to work.
Now that we have states undercutting the fed and accepting PM's as legal tender everything is in place for all the meme's to come to life.
