I live in a medium size city and all my friends and family are super left wing.

My best bud is very very smart and he legitimately believes that 1) Trump is actively attempting to become the first ever dictator of the united states and 2) Trump is actually as bad as hitler and would genocide (some group of people?) if only he could get the left out of the way.

I'm not exaggerating. This is what an otherwise smart person unironically believes, and 90% of everyone I know is about on the same page.

Idk if everyone is just board and wants a cause or if everyone is going insane, but it's just crazy.
