My uncle gave me some stock in this mutual fund when I was a kid, it's sitting at $2.7K and is set to just auto reinvest any capital gains into more stock of it. I'm 25 now and have just been ignoring it basically but I just filed my taxes and having to report the gains to the IRS brought it to my attention. Strongly considering just liquidating this and just investing the money in stuff of my own choice. Good idea or should I just hold?
