Numismatics will pay more for your American Silver Eagles or Maple Leaves because they see government mints as more collectible and legitimate. Personally, I own 6 ASEs that I inherited, and 370ozt of things not that. I buy the cheapest (secondary market generic rounds and bars), and some collectibles that I really like (Silver Shield, pic related). I say stack for weight, others may not agree.
