Guys I have a business idea which has arisen from wageslaving in the target industry. I've researched it and there are no competitors.

I have one fellow dude on board who I trust, and we are thinking of going for Angel funding in Spring 19.

Any steps we should take at this stage in terms of protecting our idea?

Stage 1 funding would give us $15,000 to get this out of ideas stage and produce an MVP. After that we would get a further $50,000 to cover us for 6 months to acquire customers.

Even if this business turns out not viable for the first time at 28 years old I feel energised as fuck to get into this project.

This has been my go to jam lately - it is melancholic with a touch of optimism. Melancholic overtone representing the 6 month long bear market, but with an overarching theme of optimism harking back to the halcyon days of Summer / Fall 2017, spent staying awake until 3am despite having wage work in the morning.

This place was a hive of activity, drunk no doubt on the dopamine and serotonin flooding our synapses with each green candle. Bubble FUD was not yet out in force, we genuinely thought we were all going to make it.

How I long for that feeling again boys.
