Did you read news article on the Toronto star? That shit was dumb. No one ever said uranium was rare or that we are running out. There's an infinite amount in the ground. The problem is its in the fucking ground and it costs 70-80$ to build a mine and extract it, but sells for 50$, so mines arent mining enough of it, and no ones building new mines. The world consumes 180million lbs a year, but we only mined 130 million this year.

Nuclear power utility companies go out and sign long term contract with uranium mining companies. Eventually(this year perhaps) all the easy uranium will be spoken for, and there will be a scramble to secure 10 years of uranium, but it's not mined yet, so the price will be bid up like crazy.

Just cause there's a huge supply of something in the ground, doesn't mean it's easy or economical to acquire. TL/DR They will buy the 200$ Uranium and be happy
