Agree with >>55726750, options and crypto very much are gambling for the most part. There's something to be said about using options to hedge the risk in positions where you own or are short the underlying. Ignore the short term thinkers and people who talk about stocks as if they're pieces of paper, they are partial ownership stakes of businesses and should be analyzed as such. When you find a business selling for less than you think it's worth that is an investment. Anything else is speculation, and for people who prefer to do that best of luck to them.
