>Next sensors use much more power
power
power consumption is being improved. it's not a big issue.

>Etholm-Idsoe adds that "we find that NXP with their focus on low-power and the NEXT offering is a natural match. NXP is a leading innovator in the microcontroller space and NEXT is excited to demonstrate a low-power, biometrics solution that enhances user convenience with mobile devices. NEXT is one of the key fingerprint sensor producers able to meet the high quality requirements for biometrics today."
>NXP Semiconductor's Jake Alamat, senior director and GM, microcontroller segment product line says, "We are pleased to be working with NEXT on improving user experience in smartphones as well as other embedded low-power applications. The ability for the fingerprint sensor to be always-on while consuming minimal power provides unique opportunities across a wide range of markets."

>Watch when the "tier 1" customer is revealed to be something shitty.
the customer has bought a 7-digit number of units and another +20% units after that. it's a house-hold brand that even this guy's mom >>934913 is familiar with.

just make sure that your broker provides access to the stock. you're looking for the NEXT ticker symbol listed on oslo axess.

also keep in mind the time zone difference. the norwegian stock market is open from 9:00 to 16:25 CET.

you might want to buy more than a couple depending on your broker's fees. but on avanza for instance you can buy 2 shares for just a 1 NOK fee.

if they're convenient enough to use, a lot of people will use them. FPC's and synaptics' line sensors are absolutely disgusting, but well-functioning area sensors save having to do the swipe pattern or type a pin code to unlock the phone.
