And only now that shit started hit the fan their 30-something
Wonderprince-leader pulls out some bogus plan to diversify their economy. However, this will takes far too long time. They took on some debt avoiding burning their currency reserves but even this will only slow down the decrease in reserves.
Circa 2021-22 they will have no cash left and as much debt like some piss poor South American countries.

Their central bank will then not be able to hold the SAR/USD peg for longer and the whole country will be depressed as fuck. Also foreign workers will then no longer want to work there since they only would be paid in then devalued currency.

Making things worse, their population has almost doubled since the 90's so that oil revenues have to be spread out over more people.

It's probably going to be the web and app investment bubble popping that's going to set off the crisis for the rest of the economy. The companies valued at tens of billions of dollars with no revenue and only a few pages of code as tangible assets, *companies that are actively losing money*, will probably be the first to go. Malaise will then spread to the more established players like Facebook who are only in a marginally better position, and then to the stock market as a whole. The price to earnings ratios for these companies make it pretty obvious that we're inside of a bubble of epic proportions.

In fact, the whole thing might have started unfolding yesterday already, since twitter's stock dropped 20% in a single day. We'll see if that spreads to other companies.

Has anyone here ever gotten funded by venture capital? What about as a college student?

How hard is it to get funded? What can I expect?

I'm trying to cash in on pic related before it's gone.
