Business retard here.
Say I want to open a shop selling phones:
>I contact a phone maker
>"I want to sell your phones. How much are they, and how many do I have to buy?"
>Maker says ok, here's a good price but there is a MOQ of 10,000 units
>shitabrick.jpg
How could you start a shop if MOQ's are cripplingly huge? Bank loans? Venture capital? Kickstarter?
Will a manufacturer give a lower order number if you persist?
Do you outright buy them from the manufacturer? What if you don't sell them? Go broke and build a shack out of 10,000 unsold phones?
How does it work with retailers where they send unsold shit back? Does that apply?
