War would be good for reelection, stupid dumb dumb. Americans have hated Iran since the 70's, and they become very pro-authority. Questioning the president = not supporting the troops, etc.

Even if the prices at the pump go through the roof, I expect it will take a good long while before people get sick of it.

I also don't think this is war yet. Donald will want to delay it until closer to the election, at least until he knows who his opponent is.
