any UK accountants on /biz/?

I have around 670k in my Vanguard account, I owe some capital gains from cashing out my stinky linkies but have the tax in a premium bonds account separate and put the rest into Vanguard.

I accidentally bought the accumulation fund instead of income fund and I want to change it but my profit for this tax year from investments is 15k

If I divest and move to income funds I'll have more CGT liabilities this tax year and I don't have a tax free allowance until obviously next year.

Would it be wise to wait until April to switch over to income or is that not how it works?

pls advise thx.
