There are some arabic sites that I cant list that hack accounts and then launder the name through many accounts until they change it to the one they will sell as a way to show that the handle cant be given back to the original owner thats how @boom got theirs (from what im told).

Other ways is to buy an automated name grabber that will constantly check for usernames you list and once available it will automatically change it to the name you selected.
