>Is offering £300 for 10 1oz coins worth it?
The current price of a 1oz silver coin on chards.co.uk is about £32. I wouldn't mind buying 10oz of silver for £300, but I have no idea if the antiques place you are at would accept it. Do these coins have custom designs? Or are they commonly minted coins?
I think that an offer of £300 for 10oz (assuming these are commonly minted coins) would probably be fine, seeing as the current spot price is around £24-25.
Offering much above £30 right now might be pointless, seeing as you could just get a similar value online, in bulk. If you want cheaper prices, you could try your luck at purchasing silver from ebay, but I wouldn't trust a large number of offers on the site (do not order anything from a chinese account, they are always fake, there is no reality in which you will be sold a genuine 1oz silver coin for less than £20).
