I was a radical Tezos bull since ICO but I'm veering away from it. Long story short: Tezos was late to the DeFi game because of the initial TF civil war. A few years later and the state of tooling and infrastructure is still pretty lackluster. That means it is tedious and hard to develop for Tezos. They are scrambling to do something about it but it's too little too late. For example, they rolled a very simple oracle service a couple days ago. It's basically a building block to build DeFi products but it comes nearly three years after Ethereum got one. You get the idea? Personally I saw the writing on the wall with the push for STOs earlier this year. It was and remain a dead-end, although it looks good on paper. I think Tezos' story would have been somewhat different had they launched a year earlier but either way, there are better trades to do right now. Maybe the price will pump with the rest of the market but it will never be a main market driver. Keep a small stack and divest the rest to better performing assets.
