I think you're putting way too much weight behind the consensus algorithm. if you want something more innovative than chainweb, look at the hashgraph. and you can see if you ever move any HBAR around it's orders of magnitude faster and cheaper than either ALPH, KAS or KDA. but I also think HBAR is a bad investment for non-tech reasons.
and just remember that blockchains can change consensus algos. if ETH can move from PoW to PoS and still maintain its dominance in terms of L1s, what does that tell you?
