CSW and nChain may have built a version of BTC that has a working oracle within it. No need for outside oracles.
Now, forget about CSW and all the drama and consider that if it can be done it will be done. BTC (the real one) could very realistically implement its own oracle thereby rendering LINK worthless.

Reality: no consensus between developers and consequently hash war that could escalate into the destruction of the coin itself. even if they hard fork and create a new coin (which both parties involved have no intention whatsoever to do) the forked coin will be the loser of the war's coin and its going to be a worthless shitcoin just like all the other bitcoin forks.
