When a customer goes to buy a fractional share Robinhood the company will actually buy the share and divvy it up among the interested parties and maintain the leftover on their books. When customers go to sell fractional shares, Robinhood will sell out as the amount of fractions equal a whole share and so on. Sounds risky to me. Basically betting along with retail which is the exact opposite of most brokers
