BASED. I'm currently in the middle of downloading the blockchain on one of my computers, so that I can have a wallet running through my own node. I don't think we'll see a cryptocurrency replace Bitcoin as the standard anytime soon, unless some government would step in and massively adopt Monero, but I could envision Monero taking second place to Bitcoin.

Moneros bulletproofs upgrade just reduced the average transaction fee from $0.25 to less than a cent. All while being completely private.

BTC btfo, no coin can compete with Monero anymore.

Hey, owner of an unknown amount of Monero here, but it's in the triple digits.

I'm looking to sell a portion of my Monero for gold over the course of the next months/years. I don't have a definite timeframe, I just know I want to move a portion of my risky, speculative crypto holdings (all in Monero) to a stable, storage of wealth like gold.

Just wondering what your guys' thoughts are on this? When would be a good time to start selling Monero for physical gold coins? American Eagles, Krugerrands, etc are what I am looking at.

My main problem is I'm not sure what the Monero/Gold ratio will look like in the future. I'm sure I will be able to get more gold for my Monero in the future, but I'm not really sure. Maybe I should hedge and sell some now, some later?

All help, advice, and trading strategies are welcome. Thanks

The Ledger Nano S announcement is imminent, we are days out. This is a pretty good bottom if you buy here. look at the price over the last year in BTC.

Or ignore me.

Also Monero is confirmed for future support on the Trezor Model T by the Trezor company themselves

Everyone give a round of applause to the biggest cucks in crypto. If you're still HODLing this you have about 3 hours to get any of that money out. The market has spoken. This shit died when it forked to prevent the addition of more efficient computing power, and made that its official policy, leaving the door open to the governments of the world to attack it via computing power. It's over.

He knows adaptable blocksize is superior, but he wants everyone else to realize this, so he is fucking up the BTC mempool and pumping BCH.

He also knows that privacy is the future, so the next step of his plan will be to reveal the devastating consequences of a public blockchain, by using Craig Wright's Satoshi keys to move the Satoshi bitcoin to an exchange wallet and crash the market with the resulting hype.

His ultimate plan is to hype and get everyone on board Monero, the true future of digital cash.

I've been trading XMR on poloniex's margin system using XMR as the backing. I usually go long. This has been working pretty well. Every time I close the position I take the btc and swap it to XMR. Now I'm trying to withdraw and every other time they make it pending for over 6 hours before I just give up, cancel it, and try again later. Is this happening for anyone else?
