it's impossible to assume that satoshi or craig or anybody would not back up encrypted file containers with keys to over 100k BTC

the only logical thing to assume is that there was no theft because there was nothing to steal. craig never had the keys because he isn't satoshi.

It's not even about "improved tech". I would say that the original Bitcoin design was elegant and damn near perfect for conquering the digital cash use-case (still the only use case for blockchain I've seen that actually makes sense and isn't dependent on hopium). While it has made advancements of its own, BCH preserves the original design of bitcoin while BTC has added regressive technology. Segwit, Lightning Network, sidechains, and whatever bullshit the magical crypto faggots are shilling you on this week are hot garbage.

it was predicted in 2015 that the blocks would get full at the end of 2017, which they did.

imagine if they had just released a version of the BTC client in 2015 that increased the max blocks to 2 MB at a certain block height (before the end of 2017).
faith in bitcoin wouldn't have been lost. adoption wouldn't have left. bitcoin cash (and SV) wouldn't have been created. people wouldnt have left to work on those projects instead. roger ver and bitcoin.com would still have been promoting BTC to this day. lightning network wouldnt have been rushed out before it was done, which completely wrecked its reputation.

i'll never forget the damage blockstream and the 1 mb blockers did to bitcoin. and now I think it's too god damn late to recover with Libra right around the corner.

If schnorr sigs are important to you, use BCH. Already implemented there

BCH has it all:

>tokenization and smart contracts
>built in coin shuffling
>schnorr signatures
>advanced op_codes
>more than 32x the tx throughput of BTC
>fees less than $0.002
>hot girls

And you can get 27 BCH for only 1 BTC. If BCH isn't a part of your crypto portfolio, you are missing out on some serious upside potential.

I love BCH but what's the point of opposing to BTC?
Both coins are good, serve different purposes and will co-exist.
There's a reason why humanity always used 3 different metals to craft coins - gold, silver and copper.
Nobody was going to market to buy food with gold, it was used as savings and for large purchases.
BTC is going to be digital gold and store of value and BCH is gonna be used as silver for payments.

I don't know how can someone hate BCH, especially after Roger created his version of localbitcoins with cash trades and no kyc. Perfect way to not pay taxes even in shithole authoritarian countries like USA.
BCH stands for true cypherpank ideals, its totally on our side vs kikes.

Well if u bought the dip, by today u would have around 5x from BCH and 2.28x from BTC. If both coins reach their historical max, from now u will have 2.79x from BTC and 11.6x from BCH.
After shnorr signature I expect BCH to moon to 800$ min.

It was gg after Craig lost the hashwar.

Desperate bagholders... How long can they remain deluded? if they don't drop their BSV bags before it goes to zero, they will have to work many hours to earn their Bitcoin(BCH)

BiTcoIn CASH thread

Good morning East Coast!

Ready to start the day with a good dose of some BCASH propaganda?

Today I want to talk about the Nakamoto consensus.

With all the talk of a contentious hard fork in November, uncertainty is high. But are hard forks really that dangerous? How do hashpower wars work? What are the economic incentives of different actors in the Bitcoin system?

Thanks for participating in the DAILY BITCOIN IS CASH thread.

I was indeed mad bro. I could have used that money. I was struggling with college, taking multiple years off to pay for my shit, and I really kicked myself in the nut when I saw that news.

I think the anger blinded me. I didn't think about what MORE could happen. I was just thinking about what COULD have happened. I didn't buy Bitcoin.

Instead I bought some silver coins (I mean, probably like $50 worth of silver in total), so that when the SHTF, I would at least be able to buy some hero pills.

Some dark times. I really thought shit was going to end real soon. War and famine and all that.

Now I realize that old post that still floats around today. The collapse was going to take a long time. There will be no fireworks, it will not be televised.

Instead we will all get poorer and poorer and poorer.

It's happening as we speak. I am scared. Now that I have a gf to live for. I even want a family. I would like to have a house a yard a dog, barbecues in the backyard, walks in the woods.

But reality is hitting so hard.
