I need your advice gentlemen

I'm a rare example of a college student who actually makes money from going to college (I get so many grants and scholarships that I basically get free money for being smart and growing up poor). I've been saving these neetbux pretty well and currently have about $4,500/$1,500 in my checking/savings accounts. I know savings accounts are pretty shit and usually don't even beat inflation so I want a more effective method to save my money. I'm almost 20 and I want to get ahead on my finances so I'll have some kind of nest egg in the future.

TL;DR: Redpill me on how to invest/save money over time so I don't have to be a wagecuck for the rest of my life
