desu, and yeah I know this is supposed to be a fiat-maxi community but hear me out...ALL of these distributed compute networks need to see massive abuse so that we know what's going to be the one who competes against things like AWS.

iExec looks promising, they're using already-existing FOSS to build upon which gives them a head start.

Flux is dope and their redundancy / availability solution is top-notch... It they are proprietary afaik and don't use hardware-encrypted virtualization tech.

CUDOS is a phenominal attempt and requires that their node operators use enterprise gear with encrypted virtual environments...but they're so focused on taking on legacy enterprise that they're literally Centralizing their nodes into part er data centers and making it nearly impossible for hobbyists to play and support.

Siacoin is deploying what I can only describe as a black hole with an entire new universe inside it that can host...but it's primarily based on storage and not enterprise compute. That said, there will be blockchains / networks launching entirely inside of this siacoin universe and their Skynet portals are amazing.

There's so much work to be done and we should support anyone who's fighting the good fight.

Even if it isn't immediately profitable....okay I'll see myself out.
