When The Big One happens you won't be asking "Is this the Big One." will be "Oh my gosh we are on our 3rd circuit breaker and it isn't even 10 am!" The media will be likening it to the Great Depression and you will see global panic across all markets as everyone scrambles to save their assets.

Then the market will hit a low it can't get past and despite all the news declaring the end of civilization as we know it the markets will begin to rise, it will be slow but once people begin to regain hope it will pick up speed.

If you want my opinion I believe there was a paradigm shift in investor sentiment. Most Slurpers were around to see 2008 and remember getting cheated out of the easiest gains in decades as we fell for 10 years of /pol/ FUD, then saw 2020 and the sudden recovery. So the Retail side is much more resilient then in the past when Boomers would panic and liquidate all of their investments at the slightest sign of weakness.

It isn't different this time, but every Bear Market is unique.
