You can literally just buy 90 delta SPY LEAPS (roll at one year) and out perform. You can move to the largest market cap tech stocks (AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, GOOG) during bullruns, as tech routinely outperforms.You can try the 200 MA strategy with 2X or 3X ETFs which has good backtesting. There's also a CBOE index which tracks dividend aristocrat stocks combined with 30 delta covered calls. That also outperformed SPX.
