I'm negotiating compensation with one of their subsidiaries and am wondering how much I should ask for in terms of salary vs. RSU equity. It looks like it had insane growth right after 2008, but it's looking very sluggish now. With a market crash possibly around the corner, what should I do? Should I ask for more salary or more stock? I get that /smg/ does more active trading than value investing, but as a rough appraisal, what do the next 2-3 years look like for it?
