Hi /biz/
What field is not completely fucked by offshoring and automation.

I did a degree in maths/compsci but the world is completely fucked and there are 1000+ applicants for every internship/junior position. Data science is definitely extremely saturated and it seems I got memed on

It seems to be the case with just about every college educatin, obviously college is a scam but its still crazy to see that even highly technical STEM degrees are worthless nowadays. I believe we are at a point of no salvation. Outsourcing has killed most of the potential of western youth entering the workforce.

What field should a young man go towards nowadays. And yes, trades is the usual answer but from my friends i hear that it is very hard to get an apprenticeship unless you know people.
