but Trump stepped in and re-opened evaluation and basically told them to go with Microsoft instead. because Trump doesn't like Bezos.

i believe that's what the whole dispute is about, Amazon feels like the government didn't go with the clear better option. in my opinion that's completely true. Amazon is far ahead of Microsoft in web services.

but for the sake of competition i think it's probably for the best if Microsoft get this bone thrown to them so that at least one company is around to compete with Amazon. sucks for my Amazon stocks though, but Amazon will still grow and grow. just a little slower.
