So recently I switched jobs and moved one rank higher in the wagie scene. My main job is giving strategic advice to the executives of the large enterprise I work for. The thing that weirds me out as an in the closet autist is that there is barely any work. I have a few meetings a week (which often get canceled) and sometimes I need to give a presentation but that's it. Our whole team including my manager seems to accept that there is barely any work and even the work that they do they deliver mediocre results at best. Still everyone pretends to be busy but never delivers anything and have empty agendas. What would you do? Don't get me wrong it's great to have a low stress high paying job but this isn't sustainable right?
