to answer this guy from last thread, no, there's a certain type of retard boomer that does exist in the US- they read an article one time in somewhere about all the chinese fakes that are indiscernible to the naked eye and they can't get over it. Everything is a fake. Tarnished? Must be fake. Damaged? Faker than a 3 dollar bill. Off color due to some combination of the above? Clearly counterfeit. To follow up, also professional numismatist and the amount of fakes I've seen over 12 years in the business is about 7 in all the collections/auctions/coin shows I've been to.
