yeah I agree. but I focus primarily on old coins under about 30% premiums so it's
>PART AND PARCEL
it really does all come out in the wash over time. e.g., pic related's bullion price is rapidly approaching the total price I paid about 3 years ago. the premium will also only ever increase.

that's not to say I haven't been focused on acquiring the highest value coins possible lately. latino gold is typically high weight, low premium, and rather collectible.

LCS in cash is always the best move:
>bulletproof privacy
>never spend what you don't have
>no shipping
>no surprises
>support local biz

sometimes you just gotta go online if you're looking for specific items though. I could only find pic related online as my coin dealer had never seen it before and IIRC wasn't aware of its existence. but I found it slabbed proof, only 8000 minted in 1974, for a decent price. now the bullion value alone is almost as much as the total price I paid.

it's just a fucking bullion coin with no history or meaning. it's not like they'll ever be rare or unique or command anything but the smallest possible premium over spot. I mean it's still silver if "silver" is all you want. but I want more than silver.

Glad to see I'm not the only hand-rubber around. I hesitate because the only time I invested on credit was buying a silver ingot, and that was also the only time I ever paid (((interest))) on the card. But 0% interest, no need to pay student loans, and no other debt makes me think it's not a terrible idea.

I wouldn't necessarily say we're shorting the entire world, or that if we win everyone else loses. It's not a zero-sum proposition. I believe that a prepared community is a stronger community. Every anon who stacks and preps is one less person who will steal, rob or panic buy. In every possible scenario along the spectrum of what-ifs, from economic stagflation to complete SHTF, more prepared people means everyone is better off.
Also, based wholesome pic. I'm stealin and repostan.
