>Spoonfeed me. Why are they not advertising on social media?
It's become a hot topic, unfortunately. Politicians don't know how to regulate it, and the businesses don't really know how either. The people they hire to wade through content literally break down and need psychological counseling after viewing so many beheadings, molestations, rapes, murders, animal abuse, etc.. And that's the content that's EASY to moderate.

The political content is hard. The loudest people are on the far ends of the left and right. On the far end of the left, they want speech policing because "das rayciss" and the people on the right have a good case that some of their conspiracy theorists are being censored.

I had a guy I liked on youtube get a video taken down for a bit because he was ranting about the Borax conspiracy, and advocating people microdose Borax, which is a detergent that could totally kill you if you took like a tablespoon of it. So that was annoying, BUT you can understand why they'd do that, because they can be held responsible for this shit.

So they started censoring some of Trump's tweets because he referenced tweeted some shit that implied he wanted the rioters to be shot. Read more here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/When_the_looting_starts,_the_shooting_starts

And now the left and the right feel like they have perfect justification to hate their favorite thing, social media.

Eh.
I don't know about that. But you could arguably treat them like utilities and nationalize them or something. But right now, they're private platforms, so they aren't bound by the first amendment.

Has any president ever waited for their second term to go to war? I'm sure theres a few cases, but going to war is one of the great "rally 'round the flag" signals that are great for consolidating power or securing reelection.

>holding naked options through earnings over the weekend
Bro.
That's not the same game as me holding my BRKB, KO, PEP, JNJ, MRK, and even REGN and COST over the weekend. There are things I want to own that if they drop, I will be compelled to use my cash position and buy much more.

(though if it's a crash... there's so many good stocks I could've bought during that shit. DAMN!! I want my MSFT, AMAT, NVDA, DXCM!! I want some SHOP and maybe even LULU, even if I have to pay the trudeau tax...)

In 10 years, we're going to look back at all the good stocks and think "any time would've been a good time to buy"

>The average true range (ATR) is a technical analysis indicator that measures market volatility by decomposing the entire range of an asset price for that period. Specifically, ATR is a measure of volatility introduced by market technician J. Welles Wilder Jr. in his book, "New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems."
>The true range indicator is taken as the greatest of the following: current high less the current low; the absolute value of the current high less the previous close; and the absolute value of the current low less the previous close. The average true range is then a moving average, generally using 14 days, of the true ranges.

Or just reading the rest of investopedia. I feel extra retarded lately though. For some reason I barely understand this or why it would be helpful.
